Your follicles are exposed to the elements and prone to infection. Give them a day.
Skin will begin to grow over the treated area, and pesky hairs will look for a way to break through. Help them along.
Exfoliate gently, in a soft circular motion, lightly scrubbing the surface of your skin a few times a week. This is the single most important thing you can do to prevent ingrowns.
We recommend rebooking every 4 to 6 weeks. The more consistent you are, the finer the regrowth — and the easier every future appointment becomes.

Come in freshly showered. Don't trim your hair — if any trimming is needed, Rene' will take care of it before treatment. If you exercise regularly, schedule your appointment after your workout, not before.
Dress comfortably. Avoid tight clothing — it can irritate freshly-waxed skin. Loose-fitting clothes are ideal, especially for intimate services.
Every 4 to 6 weeks. Some clients come in every 4 weeks, some every other month — the younger and finer the regrowth, the more comfortable every future treatment becomes, with less irritation afterward.
Expect mild redness on treated areas. It typically fades within a couple of hours. Keep the area clean and disinfected and you'll see minimal to no lasting irritation.
Yes — completely. IFM is a single-suite salon. You won't share a waiting room with anyone, and your appointment is one-on-one with Rene' from start to finish.
